Default Muffler question

Has anyone switched to a muffler with dual outlets? Anymore power?

The only way you will get more "power", is if you use a superchips or some type of programmer to take it off factory settings.. Even then, you will probably not notice much beyond better throttle response...

I wanted to avoid playing with the electronics on the Jeep

The easiest and cheapest way is to "mess with the electronics" With Super Chips you can tune the jeep and have control over parameters for bigger tires. I wouldn't have a second thought of putting a tuner on it. I would certainly have second thoughts of a Gibson exhaust, especially if you don't increase the air flow or HP. You'll waste your money. I installed a Jet Performance Module in conjunction with a Corsa dB axle back dual exhaust. I can't say definitively I gained any power, but I can say I like the sound and gained a couple of MPG. I like the looks of duals and hearing the exhaust note allows me to be in tune with the gas pedal better. That's about it.

You don't get anymore power. I did the Rugged Ridge dual cat back SS because I like dual exhaust. The Gibson slash cut tips that I added make it a great look. The sound isn't too loud which is what I wanted and I don't get "drone" at speed, which is something some other systems are prone to do. There are all different types and sound levels out there. A quick you tube search will give you look and degrees of sound levels.
