What are the chances the clock spring in my wife's JKU is the reason every possible lite on her dash lit up all at once?

 

Welcome to the forum. Recommend get checked for CODES.. If you do not have Jscan most auto parts stores can read codes and then you can research these codes on internet.. Also there is a government web site to check for recalls .. using the VIN. https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

 

I actually get a different code every time I test. Originally I as well as the dealership thought the ECU was the problem, but I had the dealership replace it and clear the codes only to have all the dash lights come back on only after a few miles of leaving the dealership. codes range from electronic throttle control to different injectors. I've replaced all the injectors but still get injector codes. It seems like I have a major electrical problem. The problems started one season after having a automatic car start installed. I'm thinking that shorted out something in the steering column. not sure where the power was pulled from but all the light on the dash are on and the automatic starter does not work.

I doubt it's the clock spring, but I could be wrong. It's likely a bad ground or a short. I'd disconnect the non-functioning automatic starter and go from there.
