Default Need help

Hello all,

anyone with ideas please help me.
my 08 likes to not start here and there. It happends maybe twice a year for no reason. just return from the store, went into the house and 10min later i was trying to leave again.....but, nothing, no power, lights...nothing. I was trying to get a jump and just let it be hooked up for like 1 min, with no results. It happend to me before and after i got a jump it was fine. had my alternator and batteries check out but they were fine. could not find a bad fuse either.

Please......some ideas?

Axel

is it an automatic? put the car in neutral and it will start right back up. your park/neutral sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. basically your car cannot tell you are in park and throwing it into neutral bypasses it. I have had this happen in other cars. since it was only every so often I never replaced it, just when it happened would shift to neutral and would start everytime.

Currently I am fighting the same problem. I have found if I pop the hood wiggle the connection to the battery power is restored. Thinking I have an intermittent ground somewhere

Or need to remove and clean your battery cable terminals.

My plan is to rewire the entire thing. If that doesn't work get the alternator tested....

I had this issue and it was the battery wire that mounts inside the fuse box that is located under the hood. The wire was loose and would cause my jeep to go dead. Tightened it down and problem solved...
