Default Need identification of pictured part

Hello all.
So, I went 4-wheeling for the first time in my new 08 JK a few weeks after I got it. It was VERY dry and dusty, so I got home and pulled the carpets, washed the seats and everything else.
Well, upon re-installing the carpets, I found the pictured part sitting loose under the driver's seat, I can't figure out what it is or where it goes, can anyone help identify this? Thanks.

Looks like trash to me....lol. Check under your seat, if everything looks cool...toss it. One less thing to rattle around.

It looks like a few different parts of the seat frame, but they're not called out in the parts guide i have. you can get just the seat frame bottom or back, and the vague pictures I have could have something like that in it, they're just not that detailed as it's sold as an assembly.

You're not the 1st person who found a weird part like this. Apparently it's one of the seat adjustment tools or parking break tension adjustment tools that one of the technicians building your JK left behind. Or.........it's a flux capacitor that hooks the articulated rebobulator into the condroidical marfluxion redolator plug extension. Good luck.

Default Thanks anyways

Well, I kind of figured it would be near impossible, and nothing has fallen apart so far (minus this part!). Just thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks.

Take it back to the stealership and ask them to order you another one just like it. Let them go crazy hunting it.
