Default new 2015 -- next question --

What is the purpose of the " foam " block or gasket that covers the drivers side valve cover on the pentastars -- All the 2015 I looked at had them -- Mine doesn't -- I like the clean look without it but if my engine is going to blow up, probably should do something.
Thanks

The foam stops the engine from blowing up, otherwise it is a ticking time bomb.

So that's what happened!

My 2015 is getting a new head next Wednesday, less than 4000 miles.

It's insulation to quiet down the ticking head.
