Well the water issue is resolved. Thank you all for your input. For some reason, I’d love to hear thoughts if anyone has any, on how or why it was twisted and folded back into itself...

Video shows remaining water, just water, after about 1/2 gallon yesterday went to passenger floor.

That little hose was on the firewall?? I don't know that I have one of those and I bought my 2010 new. It would help to keep the water off of the slave cylinder though.

Yeah I read something in a forum that talked about extending it so it’s not just dripping on lower parts of engine, so I may do that. It apparently also helps with airflow pushing or keeping water from exiting drain while driving
