Ok, had an interesting failure occur with the Rubi. Complete shutdown, where it won't start. Had to have it towed back to the dealer where it obviously started right away. However, I agreed to let them have it for a few days, and low and behold, it started acting up on them as well (thankfully when the shop foreman was driving it!). The vehicle will suddenly trip all warning lights, and show various fault codes on the system. The let it sit overnight, and it shows completely different fault codes the next day. The exact words I got so far..."We are stumped and have no Idea what's going on...>!!!!!" Between this new problem, teh whole episode dealing with the Evap cannister, an dthe problem I had with the throw out bearing. And then the horn going out, and now what! Then they have been dealing with me on another issue with my 300 SRT. I seriously haven't had both of my brand new vehicles at my house since I can remember. I'm getting so frustrated I've reached my limit!

My reply was, get the chrysler representative to meet with me, I am at my wit's end with this Jeep! I'm getting a sour lemony taste in my mouth with my Rubi, and I'm proceeding to contact DC regarding. In fact I have already been in touch with them on the phone, and know my next step is to meet with a local Rep!

Anyone else having as many issues? I have 8000 miles on mine. I have waited and waited to lift it and modify since I've been having issues. That's what you get for being the first kid on the block with the new toy! However, enough is enough!

Wow I sould be hot too. I ahve over 8,000 on mine too! My only problem has been the radio turning itself off on occasion. It comes back on about 5 seconds after shutdown.
Somebody needs to eat that one for you & fork out a replacement. They can timker with it on thier own time after they buy it back. Not like you bought some exotic antique.

 

sounds like the pesky electronics again, i wish for the days of yesteryear if u had gas & spark thats all that was needed. and the funny thing is its more then likely something stupid like a wire off someplace or sensor gone haywire.

 

Mine's been a nightmare too. I'm hoping that a change of dealership will result in many/most of my problems being resolved. All the local hardcore Jeepers tell me that there is only one place to go, and I've spoken at length with one of their senior techs. He is very encouraging and seems to think he can "turn around" my ownership experience. I sure hope so, because, when it's working, I've never owned anything I like better. Anything less than substantial (note: not "complete") success however, will result in the strong consideration for making my lemon into lemonade via a trade-in.

In short, I feel your pain. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us.
