Default New Shocks for Stock JK

I'm gonna need new shock soon and looking around most seem to be for lifted Jeeps. Anyone have any suggestions besides getting the stock shocks again. OME seems to have shocks for non-lifted Jeeps but not sure. Thanks

Old Man Emu, Bilstein, Skyjacker and Edelbrock all make shocks that will fit a stock JK.

I recommend Old Man Emu or Edelbrock.

why not just get a set of rubicon shocks from someone who has put a lift on. see them advertised all the time here in the for sale section.

Sure you could do that, and save some money doing it but then they wouldn't have Old Man Emu, Bilstein, Skyjacker or Edelbrock stickers. Ya gotta go for the stickers...

Just kidding I am keeping my eye out for a set of local Rubicon take offs.

I'd take a look at the Bilstein 5100 they make a 0-2" which works on stock all the way up to a 3" lift so you'd have some flexibility if/when you decide to do a lift! Just my

THey do? Last time I checked the Bilstein 5100s were only for 2" or more lift. Do you have a link?

blew out edelbrocks fronts on ranch land, oil gushing all over when on the rack. also not smoothing out the rough spots on the road. going to go w/bilsteins 5100 on the new jeep? anyone w/ experience w/king, or fox shocks on non lifted? will pay the money if they last, and smooth out the road... like butter.
