Default New Windshield Whistle Fix??

I've read many of the previous threads regarding a whistle after a new windshield replacement, but not sure of a definitive fix. My replacement is the original mopar windshield & I'm on my 2nd & still have the whistle. I can tape up the top and it goes away. Safelite is the company doing the install. They are suppose to come out again today to troubleshoot it. I've read where others have had exterior trim installed or additional sealant added to the gap, which I really don't want. Does applying rubber treatment (Armor All) provide a permanent long-term fix? Any special instructions I can tell them if I decide to have them put in the 3rd windshield? Many thanks!

I had the same issue with my hard or soft top on. Dealer changed everything, literally. The fix came from a chrysler engineer who measured the windshield height next to the frame. It appears if the gap is not set to factory specs it creates a wind vortex affect which causes the whistle. Mine has been gone for over a year now.

Satellite did mine also and now I have a whistle. Not sure if I should call them back to replace.

Screen door weatherstrip along the top (get the size from HD or Lowes that fits into the gap)...problem solved.

What did they do to fix the gap?

So you had the whistle after a windshield change? I had no whistle with my original factory windshield & soft top only. How'd they fix it? Thanks!

Update..... The safelite technician taped up the top windshield edge & top body edge & filled the gap with a line of silicone. Looks great, as you can't tell anything was done (no extra silicone hanging out), but haven't driven yet to see if it's gone. Will update again after the drive.

Is there a way to avoid this by making sure the replacement is mounted properly? If so - what are the details? The previous post mentioning mounting specifications indicates mounting the windshield properly would avoid this. No replacement on mine, yet, but with a windshield like this, it's bound to be necessary.
