I give up,
Yes I top up my fluid with every tank.
Problem is, a tank can last me a week.
A jug of fluid might last 2 days in bad weather.
I just drove home from my Dads, across TO (thats Toronto) and I can easily use half a jug on that trip in bad weather.
Forget it, I know its a Jeep thing , yeah whatever.
Its still a stupid and dangerous thing not to have, regardless of how often you check your oil

Totally agree.

There are WAY too many idiot lights and bells already. I believe we all need to take personal responsibility and check now and then. Of course that's easy for me to say - I live in Arizona!

This forum is full of threads where people are complaining about idiot lights (ESP, TPMS, Low Fuel instead of DTE, etc....). This is the first time I've seen a complaint about NOT having an idiot light!!

I can guaran-damn-tee you that if there were such a warning, there would threads in this forum on how to disable the thing!

Tuck an extra gallon jug of washer fluid in the back, and you're all set. I did it when I lived in Alaska, Idaho, Pennsylvania, New York, and yes even Georgia! It was a habit with older vehicles (gallon of washer fluid quart of oil, a jug of anti-freeze, and a 4-way spanner), and I've continued this with our new vehicles. The WX is just as crappy on the east side of Lake Ontario as it is on the west end...we just get a bit more snow!
