Default No windows on 2dr

So i purchased a used 2dr rubi in january. I took off the hsrd top today and put on the softtop. Soft top is brand new with orange seal around it. I put it on and found out it didnt have any windows. My question is what all am i missing from the kit, all i have is the top and the bar st the back. And will the dealer cover it? If not, where can i buy the missing parts

You should have the side windows and the door surrounds, which are the plastic pieces that go on and behind the door to make the seal for the top. A lot of times dealerships dont put all the boxes in the jeep on accident. Go take it in and explain it to them showing them the boxes you have, the dealership, as long as they arent d-bags should give you the parts your missing.

So I just picked my Rubi up yesterday. I ordered the Dual Top group and the Soft Top should be in the back attacked with the orange tag. And then 2 Boxes one with the plastics one with the windows. Then there should also be a Freedom top storage bag. If you have both tops or just the soft top, take what applies, this should all be in there. I actually had to remove the hard top to get the soft top out cause they had the Screws attached to the back roll cage and laid down in the back.

Also in the box with the windows your Velcro for holding down the top, or hold it in place if you should lower it and drive it like that.

You are missing two big brown boxes. One box containing all three windows and the other is containing the door surrounds. You may try checking the forum, craigslist, or ebay for the windows. The door surrounds are going to be a bit more difficult to find.

You are definitely missing some stuff, but you bought a used 2008. I suspect you're screwed.

I think the dealer should be responsible but to me that is just good business ethics. Who sells a car with no windows. It should have been something they looked into before they took the trade or whatever. And at the least let you know about it and took a couple hundred off the price to let you purchase some. I really hope it works out. Or if you should have to buy them you can talk the dealer into pitching in. Which is all shoulds but you just spent and gave them a substantial amount of money. A little courtesy goes along way. Good Luck
