Default noise from front gear

Hi guys,

Here is my concern, whenever I put the 4 wheel drive on my jeep and go on the trails I hear sounds that comes from the front gear. I talked about it to my dealer and they didnt hear anything.

My question is when you guys on trails like moderate ones, do you get noisy gear sounds from the front ?

My jeep is still under warranty and wondering how I should handle this.

Thanks for your time

Frank

you may have to expand on the gear sound a little bit...is it a high pitched whine? during acceleration or deceleration or both? a grinding?
diagnosing sounds over the internet is near impossible, it's entirely possible your experiencing perfectly normal operating noise

x2, "sound" doesn't do much for describing

My front end started whining a few days ago. the noise is similar to a power steering whine not as loud
or the same as if you were running in low gear at a higher speed. WTF could this be or whats causing it all of a sudden?
