It just makes it easier to change the fluid. Blinker fluid, mirrior fluid and the air in your tires should changed every 3K miles. Just be glad you don't have muffler bearings...those were a beating.

Just make sure you use a high-quality diamond carbide drill bit, otherwise the glass may break and you'll have 7 years of bad luck. :crazyeyes:



The mirror drilling is the sign of a true Jeeper.

Nevermind all those fools who lift their rigs and have bigger tires and such.

The first thing a true Jeep JK aficionado will do is check the mirrors for drill holes.

If you see someone checking a Jeep's undercarriage, they're probably a mall crawler checking for chrome. :yup:

When I drilled my mirrors, we were in a severe draught. Only a few lucky ones get to drill their mirrors in the rain. :eek2:
