2013 rubicon jku. Just finished putting centerforce clutch and flywheel in. Found a leak on my transfer case.

removed flange and all the bolts but the rear output shaft is wanting to come out with the rear half when I try to separate the case.

I have been looking all over and can not find what is keeping me from getting the case half’s separated.

I have rebuilt np231 transfer cases but am I missing something on this 241 ?
