Odometer Issues

Wondering if there is anyone that can explain how the odometer mileages differ from those of the trip counters. Right now I use the 'A' counter for fuel mileage and the 'B' counter I reset to 0 the day I drove it off the lot and have never reset it since.

The 'B' counter is showing a few thousand more KM's than the odometer for overall mileage. Any ideas what is causing this??

Thats odd...

I use A for fuel mpg's and B for oil changes

a few THOUSAND more KMs??

what is the total kilometers (on each)? (I'm curious about the percent difference)
and what is your average gas mileage?

Are the 32's you have on there stock?

I'll hazard a guess that the "B" counter is victim to rounding error and likely not designed to be used for long distances accurately. It may round up the number each time you shut off the engine. But I am just guessing....

Which meter do you think is correct? odometer?

I'll go with the main odometer as the one for being the most accurate. I'll get the numbers and post them tomorrow. I'm still running the stock tires that came with it yeah. I guess its possible the 'B' counter does not accurately track down to any decimal places like you mentioned and just rolls over a little quicker. Could be the main odometer is set for the tire size for the 'Mountain' edition and the A-B counters go off a different tire size calculation as a default setting.....
