oem soft top?
I'm pretty sure they moved the header loops in '09. It's the steel loops above the windshield that the top clamps onto. I don't think it will fit a 2011.
I run mine thru an automatic touchless every now and then. No problems at all, I do get a couple drips of water inside by the tailgate bar. No where else and never any more than a couple of small drops.
When you go to the carwash just point out that you have a soft top. They should disengage the brush that does the roof.
I have an old year model top on my '12. Fits perfect. Only gripe is the smaller rear window. Just use all the same hardware that is correct for the year model of the top. Not the body year. I'm not sure what year I have, I traded it for some stereo gear. I think it's like an '08 , or '09 top. It is really quiet and seals out rain and car washes better than my '12 hard top that's for sure. The hard top is a leaking POS.

I just recently purchased soft top off a brand new 2013 sport for 400$ it had less the 1200kms on it was removed once and stored. I drive a 2010 sport. Was surprised how easy the go on and the limited amount of parts for install.
Ran thru car wash both touch less and the ones ya get yer ass out n scrub your self. Only water leaking in was from direct spraying on seems. I call that good enough. As for hard top after 3 years of constant removal and install and dusty rubber seals and I still have yet to have leakage in the jeep.
Love my jeep and other then general wear n tare been a good reliable ride. I will buy a jeep again.

Hi I can get one of the premium soft tops for $450. 2 door
Question is do I need it.
My 2013 was just brought home Friday...freedom edition with hard top. So it's pretty loaded and my GF will be useing it as a daily driver for work. She seems happy with the T-tops and we didn't like all the noise from the test drive in a soft topped jeep. Just don't want to pass up a great deal on a top
Thanks for any suggestions

Now it's only my opinion but I believe you are missing out on part of the jeep wrangler exprience if you are going top less, and that is a whole lot easier with a soft top fold and go. Hard tops are for winter.
