Default 'off road' mode???
I have a 2012 JKR, and when I look at the gauge cluster in the sun, there is a little 'OFF ROAD' light indicator under where cruise control is. Wondering if anyone has ever got it to turn on and if it does anything.

I have a 08 jku with the same light but it has never came on maybe it's for applications overseas don't know not sure

I read that the instrument cluster is shared with other jeep vehicles, and so it probably serves a purpose in a different jeep brand

Just went out to look at my 2010 JKU Rubicon and it on my dash too.... Never came on that I've ever noticed tho

Thats the top secret off road mode. Do a special dance with the steering wheel and your jeep raises up an extra 6 inches and your tires swell up to the size of 44s.
