I just wanted to be the guy to start the inevitable.
I can't wait for Mobil-1 and K&N to release some inane POS that's twice as much money for, if you're lucky, some more pleats.
My vote for best filter goes to...
Mopar and Wix, because they're the same filter.

I went to eBay and ordered a pack of 10 Mopar filters from some Chrylser dealer and they were shipped to my house for something like $60 bucks. Problem solved...!

I hope that was a better price than your dealer. My dealer here only charges $4.62 each for the filters over the counter. I've still got to check because a thing printed on my receipt to buy by the case and save more. I may look at others when they come available but the mopar filter looked good to me as far as paper/gauze type filters go.

Got a case of ten Wix filters for $42 after tax from my local Lee Auto Parts.
