Default Oil consumption

08 Rubi uses a quart every 4,000 miles since new. 21,000 miles now.

Took it to dealer this morning. They checked PCV and found broken spring and oil in that line. They said should not be using oil and should not be oil in PCV line. Replaced PCV and changed oil. I go back every 1,000 miles for oil consumption test.

That would be great if you found the cause. Keep us posted.

If you see no reduction in oil consumption, I'll bet they change their story and say anything less than 1 quart in 1,000 miles is acceptable.

If that solves the problem great. If it doesn't there are a lot of JK's out there that use a lot more oil than that. You might be one of the lucky ones. Do a search on oil use/consumption and you won't feel too bad. I agree that they should'nt use any. So far, my 10 Rubi doesn't.
