Default Please help!

i just bought my first jeep. it is a 2007 jeep wrangler X 2 door. it drives fine on normal highway and around town. this last weekend i went camping and on the way the road is paved and has many sharp s-turns and u-turns that i would normaly take at 25 35 mph and when i go into the turn the jeep starts breaking and the light with the car and sqiggly lines come onin the dash. i push the esp off button and it still does it. this is extremely annoying, i can not enjoy this jeep when it does this. what should i do?

Is it stock or lifted? Is the steering wheel centered?,, it often happens when a Jeep is lifted and the steering wheel is not centered correctly or if it's stock and the steering wheel is not centered. Although it also depends on your driving style, if you go deep in the corners before braking it activate the Stability Control to correct excessive angles preventing a possible rollover. If none of the above, you should take your JK to a certified tech for further inspection. Just my .02 cents

x2 on checking to make sure the sterring wheel is centered. Plenty of posts /write ups on here to show you how to do it.

If everything checks out fine .............. slow down! Not sure how "sharp" those S-turns were, but you are driving a Jeep, not a rally car. Speed + High Center of Gravity + Sharp Turns = Bad News for You! Your Jeep is just trying to protect you from a bad situation.
If you still want to take those sharp corners fast, there are posts on here on how to disable the ESP as well. But do so at your own risk.
