28500 on our 2010 before we traded for a '12 a couple weeks ago. No engine problems, 3500 miles or so before adding oil between changes. 6 to 7k mile oil changes, (determined by oil monitor).
Engine purred like a kitten when running, cold or hot.

07 62,000 and I tried a trick listed in Jp for oil consumption prior to my last oil change. I was burning a quart every 2000 miles. Sucking a quality cleaner like sea foam motor treatment in through the brake booster vacuum hose will clean the carbon build up on the valves which is suspected for the erratic oil consumption of the 3.8. What the heck, I gave it a shot and am happy to report 3000 miles without any oil consumption. I have run syntec 5-20 since 36,000. In the same article "fair warning" Jp also addressed the start up knocking issue which is caused in many cases by using an oil filter that lacks a back flow preventer allowing the oil in the top end to drain completely back in to the pan so it is like waiting for hot water when you are as far from the water heater as possible.

2010 Rubicon Unlimited. Currently 26,000 miles. At 12,000 miles I noticed I was burning more than a quart every 3,000 miles. At present I'm burning just over 2 quarts every 3,000 miles. Chrysler insists up to 3 quarts every 3,000 miles is "normal", meaning, they screwed up too many engines to afford a recall to fix them...?
Still love my Jeep, I'm ok with 3.8L's power, but disappointed in the engine quality. I sold my 2000 Civic at 202,000 miles because it was burning 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles... maybe it was just breaking in... LOL

69000 miles so far ON MY 09, and have not treated it very nicely no major isues with the motor other than the common cold start knock, I may have to look into that filter with the backflow valve, other problems arose but due to wheelin(front end issues, bent tie-rod, crapped out ss, and so on) and the only other problem I have is a broken clockspring.
I LOVE MY JEEP
