59K Porous metal timing cover TSB
I used my lifetime powertrain warranty and a TSB to solve my oil leak from free. Jeep used porous metal to make inferior engine parts that result in the massive oil "consumption" many of you are experiencing. Also had upper valve cover gaskets replaced at my expense and my TPCM just blew up. I have a 2008 with 59K miles.

Currently, right at 125,000 miles. Bought it 2 years ago with 105k. Had to do intake gaskets, plugs, wires and a radiator. I'm pretty sure my drivers side exhaust manifold is cracked (pretty common as I understand it)... just haven't pulled the heat shield off yet to check for sure. No oil consumption issues though, which is nice!
I do still get the occasional rough idle on cold start and I had a stutter/misfire last week while in a hurry, rounding a corner and stomping on it... not sure what that was about.
I do my own work, so all repairs have been quite cheap... just time consuming. I will say now that I'm running 33s, I'm disappointed in the 3.8L/Automatic with 3.73 gear pairing, but that's a whole 'nother conversation.
