I was wanting to do a poll for the 2007-2011 JK Wrangler. I'm curious how many miles/life of these 3.8L V6s before they croak. Please share the odometer reading, and if you've had any problems from the engine; or perhaps something else. I put this poll under stock but was debating the modified board since I, and others upgrade their Jeeps. I'll start off with mine: 2007-55K=No problems. fwbb

An continuation of the poll taken back in 2011 on 3.8L engine longevity.

112k on 07 jk. Does not burn any oil. I just replaced intake gasket as it developed an antifreeze leak.

2008 with 133k on the clock. Little burning oil never hurt anybody..

08 jku 223k only major thing I've had to do is heater core

117,000 on my 08
137,000 on my dad's 07
Only thing on ours is small oil leaks not bad enough to warrant tearing into yet.

Coming up on 33K. The only problems I have had in 5yrs of ownership are one rear caliper and several HVAC problems, stupid plastic gears, TPMS sensors and rust!
