power steering pump problems

I just had to order my second one the first one the shaft broke free from the pump head inside this one I'm changing now has never leaked and always been full started wining and then started ticking and now nothing and it's only 4 years old at most

Not sure why but I upgraded to a 2012 and later for my 2008 when I did the V8 conversion and it works perfect and been running two years now. Not sure if you can but I recommend you look into the later model and see if it will work in there.
