Power window switches

I have a 2012 JKU and last night I noticed the light for the front driver's side window switch wasn't working. How hard would it be to replace myself. I have done some after market modifacations and do not want to take it to the dealer in fear of getting it flagged. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You would probably have to order the complete switch module. And then replace it. Shouldn't be to big of a deal. May be expensive tho.

I replaced mine a few months ago when my window lock button broke(the lights burnt out years ago). It costs about $65. Google the switch doctor.

Surprising that the bulbs are not replaceable independently from the switch module.

The tiny bulbs are soldered to the circuit board. They may be replaceable if you know what you're doing.

What aftermarket stuff do you have? If its the basic stuff then it shouldn't be a problem to get warrantied out.

I have a AFE intake, tbs, and 3" exhaust. I don't want them to flag my jeep when I take it into the dealership.

These mods are definetly not an issue as far as warranty work is concerned. (Well maybe the throtle body spacer, that was a waste of money)

"Flagged" is not going to happen because of intake or exhaust work.

.

Yeah you are perfectly safe. But like Kapt said. Ditch the TBS.
