Default Problem with brakes squealing

My front, drivers side brake has been making a rotational squeal for some time now. I finally took off the tire and played around with things and checked the pads. The pads seem ok with a good centimeter of brake material left. I tried spinning the axle by hand and round that it would squeak when a certain point on the rotor got to the brake pads. The rotor and pads look fine visually(didn't unbolt the caliper though). Any thoughts as to what it could be or how to fix it?

Yep. Sounds like mine. It does it more often when turning left too.

Try removing the pads and lubricating the tabs and the backs, not the friction material. You can buy brake lube at most auto parts stores.

over-torqued lugs can cause warped rotors. your description sounds like somethings out of round.
