Default Question about key/ignition

I just purchased a 2013 JKU. I have noticed it is hard to turn the key from On/Run to Acc (when turning Jeep off). After Acc I push in and turn to lock, no problem.

Is it normal to feel resistance when turning from on/run to Acc?

OK, I'm not the only one. I know it had to be pushed in to get to lock. But from on to Acc seems weird... Anyone else?

I plan on asking at my first oil change. Until then I'm not going to stress over it. I love my JK and even if there is something wrong with it, it's only an ignition cylinder.. Not a big deal...

It's your jeeps way of saying "Don't go, drive me more!"

Does it happen with both of the keys? Is there anything unusual about the cut of the keys that you can notice?

There should be a little resistance but if your having to fight with it....warranty.

She'll be asking for a break when summer rolls around #topdowndoorsoff lol... I'm going to try the other key. I don't recall it doing this during test drive maybe I was using the other key.
