Default Question on shocks

2dr and 4dr. Drove both, the 2dr was a sport S, the 4dr is a sport. the 4dr seemed like i felt the bumps in the road harder then the 2dr. is the sport S a dif shock, or is it just the dif between a 2dr and 4dr? also, upgrading shocks for a more smoother ride, with no lift, recommendations?

The difference is probably in the springs not the shocks, but it could be the combo. The only thing I know is that Rubicons have stiffer springs but other than that I dont know any other differences between the models. Generally the bigger and heavier the vehicle the smoother it will ride.

check out the thread "lets solve the stock springs question". lots of good info, and although i haven't viewed it in a while, surely the 2012's have made their way into the thread.

Depending on the tire pressure that could make all the difference. I've driven both and the 4dr does have a smoother ride but I still love my 2dr with my bilstein shocks.
