My money would be that you're all set when the new fan gets installed. If you have power getting to the fan harness, it should go. Hope you're up and running soon!

Thanks everyone. Fan will be here today so I'll let you know. Kind of got carried away though and ordered a Teraflex 2.5" lift and 1.5" wheel spacers as well. Ha!

Haha! That's my philosophy too! My temp sensor went out and I replaced it with an ls3.
Have fun with the build. I helped my brother install the teraflex 2.5" on his JKUR. It really was an easy install and looks great.

Replaced the fan tonight and all is well! Took about 15 minutes. I was surprised at how easy that is to replace.

It's a bit of work, but you can pull the whole fan and test it the motor itself. The motor has a plug to remove the 2 wire harness that runs up to the voltage divider.
If you have to replace the motor, it's really not a big deal. The design of the motor exposes it to all the road and off road crud... it's not unusual for the 07-11 fans to die.

Pretty sure that when the AC is on, the fan is running in HIGH speed which bypasses the voltage divider (which is LOW speed)

I went with the TYC OEM replacement. I don’t do a lot of mudding or fording so no need for a sealed unit.
