Default Rear Diff Leaking!! WTF???

Hey I went out this morning and noticed a nice little wet spot under my rear diff, walked around and saw that it is soaked!!! and already have a nice spot under it, any suggestions?? I'll take a pic as soon as i find some batteries...





This was after a fairly intense workout on a really rocky trail....

Get it to the dealer,, they will fix it, it shouldnt of leaked yet. The cover isnt damaged from the trail? Almost looks like it in the one pic.

yeah actually i just went back out there and wiped it off and yes it is beat up from the rocks the bottom is sort of flat now, and the part of the cover is actually pushed towards the rear, so it's scraped and bent now, and the seal is just sort of hanging there at the bottom.

Eddie, I need that diff cover in the give-a-way!!!!

Is it just the cover that is damaged or the pumpkin too?

It's probably just the cover. It's pretty easy to drag the pumpkin directly across a rock and end up with the rock "peeling back" the lip of the cover. After market covers usually resist this force.

yeah it's just the cover, i just picked up some gear lub. and rtv sealant stuff so i'm gonna take it off and reseal it.

25-30 ft. lbs. of torque
