How much lube does the Dana 44 take in the Rubicon?

I could only get 1 7/8 qts in. Gonna run it for a bit, couple days, recheck it.

Sounds about right...it is difficult to get it all drained out. The axle tubes have lube all the way to the ends to lube the bearings.

If you have a limited slip differential, be sure to put the friction modifier additive in or use a synthetic that already has it. :what?:

Glad to see the content of this thread was still Jeep related, the title had me worried!

I'm replacing my stock differential cover with a after market since it just loves to year open like a soup can.... And need to refill the fluid and wanted to know if any additives are needed as well
