Default Rear Rubi locker won't engage - what's this dangling wire ???

I was washing under the jeep today and noticed this dangling plug from the rear differential. There's another plug along the same wiring harness that's plugged into the rear diff as you can see in the picture but this one is loose and looks like it broke of from somewhere but I can't tell from where. Perhaps this explains why my rear locker will not engage ???

And it looks like it's supposed to be plugged in here ? Unfortunately the connector looks like it's broken.

Finally taking this in to get fixed this week... hopefully the dealer doesn't come up with some reason why this plug replacement will cost an arm & leg. I really could have used my rear locker last weekend while stuck in the mud

That's exactly what it is and it cost me $65 to get it fixed at the dealer. No Biggie I guess. Just not sure how it got snapped off...maybe a stick got up there or something off-road.
