Mine are doing the same thing, I just checked the pads and are almost gone. I'm going to get new pads at lunch and will replace them tonight.
By the way, yes, they do make noise when driving even if not braking.

Yep they will squeal... mine just had to be replaced at 38,000. I think that is about the average life span of rear brakes on the jk... it is a simple job!
