Default Rear Trac bar question

My 14 JKU Rubicon has a Mopar 2" LIFT WITH FOX 2.0 shocks and has developed a clunk and looseness on the rear left hand bolt /bushing mount to Jeep. It has 42K and when I move the jeep from side to side I can grasp the LH side of bar and see it move slightly and it clunks. It is not an exaggerated clunk or movement, but nonetheless movement. My question is, since I have the Mopar unlimited mileage lifetime warranty with $100 deductible, should I just have jeep R&R or should I buy and install a adjustable rear trac bar, or do I even need an adjustable one?

Thoughts??

Thx

Grab a 21mm socket and tighten it? Why throw parts and money at a problem that can be solved with a wrench?

yes tighten it first it is 120 ft/lbs of torq so it needs to be tight. at the height the mopar 2" lifts you do not need an adjustable track bar in back. I have 2" mopar coils and a teraflex track bar bracket and I am off 1/2" which is not enough to matter and if you think about how the suspension works the actual is changing positions all the time when off road. If it is off a lot then you risk having issues off road but at 2" you wont be close to that.

Agree....at that height, you can live without an adjustable TB in back. The time that it might make sense to get one is if your factory TB was toast and you couldn't locate another factory take off for dirt cheap, and you were forced to buy something.....then, if you HAVE to purchase something it may as well be adjustable.

Torque that sucker down and report back.

Buy a 1/2" drive torque wrench as suggested above, and torque that sucker down to 120 ft/lbs. Screw the dealer.
