2011 with factory remote starter, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. doors are locked and standing right beside it. i've tried both key fobs, however, i haven't replaced either battery
any ideas

 

My range always varies, sometimes it starts couple blocks away and sometimes it won't start till I'm 5 ft away

 

Is your Auto or Six speed??????

 

if your low on gas it won't start either

 

It will start with low gas, then immediately turn off a few seconds later.

 

automatic, lots of gas.
today it worked, i locked the doors pressed the start, shut it off. then unlocked the doors, press the start button, the doors locked and it started....
who knows, but when it's cold and you assume it's running (can't see from my point of view) and 20 mins later it's still a frozen jeep that sucks.
