Default Removable grill ??

So, has anyone removed their grill with a dime, as stated in the sales lit?

The grill is part of a german engineering concept known as momentum
forward structure (MFS). It is difficult to explain, and nobody would
understand, but essentially, to remove the grill is a four part process:

1) Remove the hood and fenders.
2) Remove the front bumper and winch (if equipped).
3) Drain the radiator.
4) Use a dime to remove the four screws that hold the grill on.

Actually, what I said above is complete BS.

I don't have any idea of why anyone would want/need to remove the grill
with a dime, but I am intrigued that it is mentioned in the sales literature.
Please explain further.

It's probably some recessed 1/4 turns or something, need to look at one and see what they really are. Then again I can sell you a "Special Tool." that just happens to look like a time for $99.99 on sale today only for $69.99.

On page 37, (the fold out options chart) under Exterior, Grille, (yes its actually spelled with the E on the end, I guess it's a French grill?) Quote - "Body-color, painted thermal plastic olefin polymer, stone- and dent-resistant, easy removal for service (only tool required is a dime)." So.... It looks like our fancy French grille may be made of plastic  My JK won't be in for several more weeks, so if someone who has theirs can confirm what the grill is made of that would be great. I just thought the easy removal part was amusing, as I have no idea why that would be useful.

I have had a few occasions where it would have been great to be able to pop the grille off.

Out here at certain times of the year, butterflies migrate so thick that they can clog up your radiator.

Between phoenix and sandiego we had to stop three times to pull many handfuls out. we could have filled up a 5 gallon bucket on that trip and went through 2 gallons of washer fluid
