Default Removing drag link

Anyone got any idea how to remove this? I need to replace mine and the dealership said its going to cost 380 for them to fix it. I can buy an aftermarket for that. However my old one is still on there, do I just hammer it until that bolt drops down? I got the nuts off, and have hammered it with a regular hammer but no luck

I guess you could just hammer it out but, I would suggest just buying a pitman arm puller for a few bucks...I've seen them on amazon for a couple of dollars!

Put the nut on a couple of threads, then strike the knuckle where the draglink goes in. This will dislodge it. A couple good shots is all it takes.

x2 and it will be a lot easier with a BFH Other options would be a puller or if you are not re-using the draglink and not worried about ruining the rubber boots then you can use one of those automotive forks with the BFH to pound it out...
