Default Replaceing the Clutch Slave Cylinder--Help!

I replaced my slave cylinder tonight. All was going well, and I was watching for that O-ring everyone says is so easy to loose. I was looking for it, and was very careful, and saw nothing. Saw no O-ring on the line,,,no O-ring fly off, drop, nada...

I was nervous about this, but put it together anyway, and bled the clutch, and spewed all my fluid into the bell housing leaking it onto my driveway.

i thought that if it was going to leak it would have come out of the line connection to the cylinder. No? It leaks into the bell housing?

Now I have been searching high and low to find the stupid thing, but no luck. Anyone have a pic, diagram or good description of where it goes and what I am looking for?

Default So u lost the o ring seal

So u lost the o ring seal. Did you check the old slave cylinder to see if it is in there . It is a ruber O-ring about 1/4in in diameter. The only way to get a new O-ring is to get a new clutch hose . The ring is a B@$terd size and you cant get 1 out of a universal kit they wont fit or seal properly. The dealership can only sell you the hose . They will not sell you the ring all by itself. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions regarding this issue.
