Replacement Speakers
Delivered today were my 4-Kicker replacements for stock 6.5 infinitys---best $150 I've spent and I only have the rears done so far! The magnet is twice the size and the speakers aren't made from paper!...I might be new to being a Jeep owner but I can't see buying stuff for this thing gettin old any time soon!!!!!
I bought a $200 dollar pair of blaupunkt (sp) to replace the rear speakers in the sound bar. They hardly made a difference so I returned them. Do the kickers make a significant difference or just a slight one. I read somewhere that the factory head unit limits power to the sound bar making the only way to improve it is to replace with an aftermarket head unit. Do you know if that is true?
I've been thinking of replacing my sound bar and dash speakers, but I always get mixed reviews on them. Some people say its great and others say its not noticeable unless you run more power to them. How do you like yours? Good improvement over stock? And what system does your jeep have?
If you have the Infinity system try the Infinity 6032 SI sets. Did my sound bar and dash and there is day and night difference and they bolt right in the factory holes. It is an upgrade I would do again even if I didn't have the Infinity system.
