Default Roll Bar Mounted Cargo Rack

Has anyone mounted a cargo rack directly to their roll bar? If so, any recommended brands? other tips?

Is this what your looking for ? I built it before a couple of manufacturers made their 4-door racks, my write-up here : https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...GO+RACK+BESTOP

I saw something over at AEV on a roll bar mounted roof rack...but Im not sure if it mounts through the top to the roll bar or if it can be used independently from the top. Late summer release I believe.

Default I kind of built my own

I found a plastic tray (the on in the pictures) cheap.
I had some heavy duty L brackets from something, don't remember what. I drilled through the wheel well and the slit the carpet to hid it. They are about 5" to 6" long and 4" or 5" wide. Then I drilled a hole in the tray and used some flat trailer brackets I had to secure it to the bracket. I used a wing nut to allow me to take it out as needed. Then the brackets give me other secure tie down points if I need it.
I will try and post some pics.
