Exclamation Rough running, oil in intake, multiple codes

2013 JKU. 144k regular oil changes and other maintenance done.
Okay kids, take a seat this will be a story. CEL on with P0422 Small EVAC leak. Can't get inspected. Shop replaces gas cap and clears code, says drive it and come back for inspection. OK. Barely a day goes goes by and new code; p0420 comes back. Been seeing this before and have tried cleansers - comes and goes. Frustrated, drive for work, starts running rough, minimal power - stalls at stops, notice blue smoke at restart (but will restart). Stop and get towed home. Research. Pull air filter and see oil/sludge in filter and in intake going to throttle body. Research. Bad PCV - figures 144k. Replace PCV - PITA. Still not right. Runs roughish, stalls unless I feather throttle when coming off revs, blue smoke from tail pipe. Think - maybe too much oil in intake from bad PCV - fouled plugs/choked. Got Oil pressure idiot light when idling. OK - burned through some oil and spit it out through intake when PCV failed - added some oil after checking dipstick. Driving home with previous issues still happening - traction control light comes on! ??? Figure that's some gremlin inside (happens again after adding oil and driving some more). Take home - tear down intake to clean. Pull plugs. Cylinder 1, 3, and five have oil and deposits (mostly 1), other side looks OK. Figure PCV fail has fouled plugs, so replace all plugs and while I'm at it, replace coils. Clean throttle body, intakes, and hoses that connect to them. All back together and now getting tappity tapptiy sound from passenger side after restarting. UGH. Drive - code P06DD pops on. WTF.
Still starts and drives, better than before (stalled once after coming off acceleration). Some oil burning still happening, blue smoke and can smell.
Insights?
Am I looking at an overhaul of the valves and rockers now? Replace the whole damn thing?
BTW - Paid off JUST this month...

Wow that is a lot! IMO the blue smoke is oil burning. If you are burning that much oil it could cause problems with the oxygen sensors. You may well have a piston or value issue. Have you checked the compression (especially for #1)? You may have an issue with oil pump as well. You can tell pretty quickly with a compression check. Good luck!

Thank you. I have that dreaded feeling that it is a valve issue. Compression check will be done today. Seems to generate power, up to 3400rpm...
But it is most certainly burning oil.
Think having that bad PCV starved that side and cause other issues? By letting so much oil out, and into the air intake?
Just for future 3.6 owners out there.

Default Update

First - thanks for the input - much appreciated.
So, an update. Checked compression and #1 was at 120 - OK; #3 was 60 - yikes. Did an DYI air pressure test, can hear air coming from exhaust - valves stuck/broken? Off comes the valve cover (PITA). Find small plastic pieces that are from the chain tensioner guides.

When I move the crank, the exhaust cam locks up and the chain jumps. A couple rocker arms don't seem to be moving...
So there's my clacking noise and the reason so much oil is blowing into the intake - stuck exhaust valves open.
At this point I'm guessing I need to pull the chain cover and replace the tensioner and guides? .
Also pull the cam shafts and replace the rocker arms - hopefully the springs & valves are OK.
The cams look good no real scoring as I can see.
Do I pull the other side apart too since I'm already this deep into it and just replace everything?

Maybe and LS can be found for cheap

ugh...this does not make me feel great. I only have 114k on my '13, but all that plastic is still 9 years old. Seeing that broken up chain guide is not what I want to think about. I would THINK that at this point you'd be looking at a full timing rebuild, no?? If that is the case the other side is getting torn apart too. What a pain.

As mentioned above , if you are this far into it you may as well do both sides and replace anything else that is a pain to change. Hopefully no further problems. Good luck!
