Running Around with No windows

Hey I usually just keep my windows out, the rear, and the sides of the soft top, do any of you guy's back "legs" of the soft top every fly loose and start to "glide".

Been doing it for years and they have never come off.

they are called sail panels. Some tops have very flexible ones (just the sail cloth) other models (I think builds from very late 2008s onward) have rigid panels.

If you have the softer ones they can be rolled up. The stiffer ones usually don't come off. I have seen bungee cords used to wrap them.

is your top unusually loose? maybe somethings bent.

Oh okay yeah I've seen some that are able to roll them up and tie them but I have an 09 so they are stiff, I also saw this thing that allows your roll up your windows in a roll but I guess I can't do that also because it is kinda stiff. I just tie the sails down to the sport cage using some old bike tubes.

So whats the proper way to folding in the sails when I put the top down? Since their stiff? Up or down?

Every now and then I have one pop out if I get on the highway at higher speeds and /or catch a gust of wind.
