Rust in door sill

Rust in door sill
I have a 2015 Jeep jk and in the door sill thier are these plastic rust proof bolts or whatever they are and I noticed on one it has rust I don't know if this is superficial rust or real rust spreading has anyone else had this issue?

not sure i never had anything like that in mine so im not sure what you are talking about. mine was just painted metal till i bought one of those little plastic door sill guards.
