Default Safety Recall G25(reprogram TIPM)

I just receive my second recall . The first one was with the ABS system, and this one is for the Totally Integrated Power Module(TIPM).
I never had any of the stalling incident, built date nov 16 2006, but there gonna do the flash anyway.

I don't know if any of jk owners receive it yet, since i didn't see nothing on the forum about it. Or maybe they start with the recall in Canada first but i doudt it.

So check you're mail for that recall, some people are gonna be happy that they finally realise that it was a safety issue, better late than ever....................

I just love my Unlimited Sahara Rescuegreen...

We receive a lot of requests to make a "sticky" out of various topics.

This thread is yet another example why the STICKY's at the top of the topic page dont work.

Sticky: TSB & Recall Information ( 1 2 3 ... Last Page) <---very first sticky at the top of THIS EXACT section. and it gets ignored all the time. *sigh*

not trying to bust anyones chops... but it does get frustrating.

That's the nature of Internet forums. People will sometimes search, but if the search algorithm isn't tuned than you'll lose the few people that will attempt that. And then you have the added problem that most threads get allot of noise (like this message for example) which make it difficult for someone to find a solution. Often times it's easier and less frustrating for the person looking for the information to just post a new request.

FAQs can help dramatically after you train users to use it, but make sure it has good information and is a manageable format otherwise it'll die out. But, what it boils down to is that the space a mesage takes is extremely cheap, so is it really a big deal?

Nope, not a big deal. There have been a lot of times i have given up on searches and just asked. However, that wasnt really my point, i was refering more to the "sticky" issue. A lot of people want "topic x" made into a sticky. for some things that is done, but this example is just proof that it doesnt always work. That was my only point.
I in no way meant that people shouldnt ask questions, merely that there are times when the answer is right there about to bite you.
