Default seafoam

40k on my 2017 JK ran a can of aerosol seafoam thru the throttle body. Could not believe the difference afterwards. Had a drone sound going up inclines before it would kick down a gear. No more. Something was dirty in there. Didn't get all the smoke out of the exhaust like I've seen on youtube but for $13 what an increase in performance.

People mistakenly think the smoke is gunk that is being cleaned out. 100% not true. The smoke is the sea foam burning up. Put sea foam in a brand new engine and you will see the same smoke. Glad it worked for you.

The other thing that you should probably use instead of Seafoam (though I've used it too) is the Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. It works well and has the same effect.

I tried it at 200,000 miles. It didn't do jack beyond make a ton of smoke. And I'm always suspicious of posts like this from someone with only two posts.
