My Jeep has always done this a bit but it has happened a couple times wickedly in the last couple days and it is scary. When I am going around a sharp corner and braking or hit a bump when braking the Jeep shudders and I feel like the Jeep lets up on the brake and I'm losing control.

Is it the EBS? ESP? Is it the DW? I got new tires recently - wider but not bigger - do i meed the Jeep flashed? I can regain control pretty quickly but those few seconds suck.

Anything I can look at or do to correct this or is it just a Jeep thing?

Sounds like the ESP. Stop driving like an American!

Maybe you're pushing it too hard. Maybe you have a warped rotor. You might have worn pads. You could have a bent rim. It could be any number of things unfortunately.

This stared happening to me right after I got my lift, Wheels & Tires. The ESP light flashes and the brakes shutter bigtime when slowing and turning mostly from a freeway off ramp. In the rain I really think this could be dangerous. Not sure what to do.

Did you recenter steering wheel? How about a programmer like AEV Procal?

Your steering wheel needs to be centered. If its not you can fix very easily. Loosen the two bolts on the Dranglink adjustment and turn it until the wheel is centered. Tighten the bolts and your done. This might take a few tries to get it perfect.

Yup, still a problem and pepperdine has described exactly what is going on generally on off ramps or when I have to pull the wheel to the extreme on one side or the other. It is scary!

I will try re-centering and any other suggestions you all have. Thank you for responding everyone!!

Oh, and front brake pads were done not so long ago. And I drive fast but I'm not a maniac. ;-). This happened today at 30kms...

Is it a pulsating feeling like your ABS has kicked in?
If so I'm sure it's related to your steering wheel Alighnment. I have 4" lift and I'm on 37's. I can go as fast as I feel safe around any off ramp. The wheel doesn't need to be off by much. Good luck...
