I have used the hard top through the touchless washes without leaks or any other issues. These are the ones that use the high pressure water to remove dirt and debris.

After 4 months, the paint still looks new the vehicle gets all the salt blasted off.

Am I good taking my hardtop through a "no steering no brakes" car wash? Am I going to get wet because of any of the seals not being able to handle a high pressure rinse?

How about when I go to the softtop in the spring?

Thanks!

I put the softtop through two car washes, one a "neutral" and one a "Park". The "neutral" was no trouble. The "Park" was a nightmare... i thought the water was going to rip the top and soak everything, me included. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DO NOT USE THE "PARK" TYPE HIGH PRESSURE CAR WASHES!!! Haven't had an opportunity to try with the hard top, I'll check it out this weekend...

Eh... can't really do that with the winter. Plus water prices are through the roof!

Hahaha... no worries. For some reason we've gone from 7 degree days to 50-60 degree days, in a week...

I could get the sprinkler out, but I don't feel like dealing with turning the outside water on right now. I'm lazy!

I always handwash the Jeep because I just enjoy doing it myself.

I wouldn't mind a no touch wash but they rarely to a good job if you ride is dirty. Plus you still have to go home and wipe it down to get the water spots.

I have my garage set up to wash my vehicles indoors durring the winter. If I didn't have that I would use to no touch just to keep the salt off.

I've considered this myself. What have you done as far as setup to easily wash indoors? I don't have a floor drain or anything but the floor slopes enough to allow water to run towards the door if there ever is water on the floor.
