Default Slight pull to the right?

Picked up my new '12 Rubicon unlimited yesterday, noticed that it has the slightest pull to the right. I checked the tire pressure, all is well there. Before I bother to cry wolf and take it to the dealer to check the alignment, is it normal with the 32" tires and the mud terrains that come stock to have the jeep want to follow the crown of the road? I haven't been out on highway yet, and don't want to drive the wrong lane to see if that makes it pull left, LOL.

I want to add the TF leveling kit, but will take it to dealer BEFORE I do so I don't have some dufus tech tell me that I caused it.

Thanks for the feedback!

If your alignment is fine, then its probably just the curvature(spelling? haha) of the road... I mean, some roads have a big arch... I guess monitor it for a little more and see if its consistent on all roads

My stock JKUR does it too. If you let go of the wheel on the highway it starts turning slightly right and changes lanes. I read in another thread it could be a Radial tire issue.

That's why I figured I'd check here. I think it really just is the tires - the tread pattern and the footprint of it. It is such a slight pull, it didn't feel like an alignment issue.

Thanks for the reply!

My 12 Rubicon Unlimited does exactly the same. Thinking of taking in to get checked, but it isnt that bad. Thinking its the tires causing the slight pull. Also, really not complaining but the ride in the Rubicon is rough. Hits over bumps, and the general ride is alot harsher than my 08 Unlimited X.

Default Not pulling

I have a 2010 Mountain Edition with the same tires and wheels and mine does not pull to the right. Unless it is winding mine will track start down the road. I would check the alignment. If you don't and it is out of alignment you will have abnormal wear on the tires.

Something sounds fishy if you ask me. My Sahara tracks dead straight, assuming the road is level. Even when I ran Rubicon wheels/tires.

Does the JK actually wander, or does the steering wheel just prefer to not 'rest' straight?

As you may know, there is no left to right alignment setting on the JK's.. Just the toe setting. If the toe is too far in or too far out, it'll definitely wander or follow the road funny. I spent a good month tweaking my toe after getting new tires, and suspecting the tire shop of setting it too far in. I'm 'super' picky, and settled on 1/8"-in as the best setting. Took a lot of tweaking to get there. 1/16" off in either direction should definitely be noticeable.
