This comment confuses me... are you saying that the whole JEEP is wider? Because we know that is not the case. 2011 was basically an interior refresh only, no sheet metal changes. The soft top mounts to the sheet metal and the roll bar.

If you could explain in more detail, that would help. What part is wider? What part had to stretch? Front to back, or side to side?

Pics would be even better.

Thanks

I'm not sure what is wider, but I bought a 4dr 2010 Sahara brand new. It had the soft top inside, but did not have the box of goodies with it, so we had to scavenge some off the lot. When we removed the back window from a 2011 Sport, it was about 4 inches too wide to fit my soft top. All of the salesman were completely unaware that anything had been changed. The side windows and side posts/rails from the same 2011 Sport did fit mine.

That makes a lot more sense now, thanks. So one of the changes made in 2011 on hardtops was wider rear window. Perhaps that carries over to soft top as well.

If that is the case, then it means that the 2011 WINDOWS won't interchange, but if you have a complete top from one year, it will probably still fit on another year.
