Soft Top Issue

Looks like its a 2010 so i dont think it would have the plastic that you have to slide into the window frame.
My 2011 does the same thing. I"m not sure if it's just me (or my way of putting the top up/down) or just the design. It does look a little goofy and I hope it doesn't become a problem spot over the years for wear.
And Yes: My 2011 doesn't have the retaining channel for the front part of the soft top either. I love that too. Easy to raise/lower the Sunrider. Also - the only problem I ever had with my 1999's soft top was those retaining channel clips. I had to sew them back on both sides to keep them from completely coming off. And hadn sewing that thick plastic through the fabric is a bear on the fingers...

When my soft top is up it seems to buckle a little over the rear doors. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Attachment 181208
Is your window tucked all the way under? There is a piece of black plastic, that's independent of the hook, but it's suppose to sit on top of the surround. I took a picture, sorry for the crappy BB quality.

It's the rectangle piece, on the right side of the picture. It's basically a long/thin U, that sits within a channel on your surround. Check that piece and see if it's correctly seated.
I just went out and looked at mine, 2010 that I just put on this past weekend, but I don't have the same issue.
